City of Chicago Property Tax Relief Program

2009-12-17 12:49:24 by Daniel Balys

Thanks to Mayor Daley and the City Council, you may qualify to receive up to $200 in property tax relief. This new program is meant to provide relief to City of Chicago homeowners who experienced an increase in their 2008 property tax bill for their primary residence. The amount of the relief you could receive is dependent on both your income and the amount of your property tax increase. The application for the City of Chicago Property Tax Relief Program and additional information can be found at this link.
